We are truly adrift on an ocean of possibilities, some of us are gaining direction, to a journey of self discovery and real empowerment. This is a wonderful course where we find our own answers and experience some real communication with others on the same heading. We start to listen to ourselves to know what is truly empowering and to discard beliefs or ways of thinking that just further their control over us. There may be storms that can make our course difficult but still very doable..
We must know by now that we are the cause of those storms. By our neglect and beliefs, we have put self serving institutions and individuals into positions of control. We have placed "them" in authority over us and "if authority is not questioned and challenged, we will soon become dominated and enslaved by it" (me). We humans have a history of being able to retake our freedom and one of the most important of those who facilitated freedom for his people was Mahatma Gandhi. With civil disobedience, Gandhi took on the British Empire and won freedom for his country and people. He took on the most powerful, oppressive regime of the time by insisting on independence and truth (satygraha - insisting on truth, using soul force or truth force, empowering energy). Because of the assassination of Gandhi, India gained its freedom, just to be enslaved by itself, its government. Gandhi was no longer there as their driving spiritual/energy force and his countries sole seemed to die with him. Individuals and societies must supply their own energy and sole to remain free.
We are suffering from a lack of individual freedom. We have ignored those that we have put in power and the way to regain personal power and re-establish society freedom is by empowering our thoughts and beliefs. We can become educated with "real" knowledge, we can look for answers within through meditation, we can start our individual forms of civil disobedience, we can demand truth and we can turn off the opiates that facilitate our enslavement. I know a great deal about health self empowerment, so my suggestion is, that is a good place to start. The medical care institution is arguably the largest dysfunctional corrupt industry in the world and it is at least as powerful as the British Empire was for Gandhi. My civil disobedience with the Medical Empire is to successfully take care of my own health with alternatives to the medical and to spread the word to everyone I meet about the wonders of freedom and self empowerment. Health is at the base of everything! Butch Check out "The New Wave Energy".
