The most important thing to us is our health and most tend to have a cavalier approach to it. Many, if not most believe that the "Medical Control Complex" along with the government is in control of our health. If you believe that way, quite likely you will not be truly healthy, ever and will end up taking endless prescription medications, chemicals, drugs and suffering many elective procedures. If you want to be healthy (and who does not want to be healthy) you/we need to take responsibility for our health, There is no place to go to become healthy and the Medical Control Complex makes shiploads of money keeping you on prescription medications, receiving procedures and causing you to believe that you need "them". There are better ways, become involved. Bob
Is Obama Care going away? If you are like me, I may be able to stop paying for something that I am not using (Obama Care). I am health care independent, that is, I use alternative health care modalities, no drugs, no medications, no medical, just being healthy in charge of my own health. It sure does feel good. Bob
I am going to make some Christmas sugar cookies, you know the stars, Santa, bells, etc, etc. In stead of going to the computer for recipes I decided to get out some old cookbooks that we have had for years and the one that sort of fell out in my hands was "The Deaf Smith Country Cookbook" dated 1973. I made a cup of tea got myself comfortable and started to read this wonderful book as if it were a great novel. Wonderful how-to's and other tid bits about food, "Real Food" of the day and not one mention of "Glutens", whatever they are (did GMO's exist then, I wonder, research time). I know that I now have a new book friend, 300 plus pages of great stuff, good information and wonderful real food. Yes, I will enjoy. Bob
I just finished watching the movie "Captain Fantastic" (great show) and one scene depicted their family in a fast-food restaurant, where they first saw and experienced being around "Fat" people. They wondered if these unfortunate individuals were all sick? Well OK. Now, some interesting information (No, they did not eat at the Fast-Food restaurant) .
In the 1960s the average weight of an American Woman was about 140lbs and now the average weight is more than 165lbs. In 1960 the average American man weighed in at about 165lbs, now the average is more than 190lbs. No doubt we Americans are getting fatttter. But are we getting smarter?
Now, about 50 million Americans suffer from neurological disorders and the numbers were so low in the 1060s that the statistics didn't exist. Autism in the 1960s was rare. Now autism strikes about 1 (one) in every 70 children. Something is going on here that requires several good long looks at "ALL" possible contributing factors. Bob
Medical Care in the U.S.A. now costs us more than $3 trillion dollars per year ($3,000,000,000,000, plus). We in the U.S. spend more per capita on Medical care than any other nation in our world, so how do we rate on a scale of 1 (the best) to 35 (the worst)? We rank about 25, and that is way, way down on the health scale, or whatever you want to call it. We are not getting good bang for our Medical care dollar.
John D. Rockefeller, the father of our Allopathic medical care system started us on a path, or road to a system that just doesn't work, for the consumer (It works great for the people or entities at the top, the pharmaceutical industry). John D. is believed to have said that competition is a sin, the very same belief and action that dooms capitalism to failure. Add competition and Capitalism is the best economic system possible. Competition works for the consumer and works to keep industry honest and competitive. We have a capitalistic medical care system without competition, so it will continue to work poorly and to cost more and more. The medical care industry and its' government, actively discourages competion to it and if we are not careful the U.S. will end up with a full on socialistic form of medical care. Bob
When asked to describe or picture a healthy American, is that individual: 1. taking one to five prescription medications daily, 2. have they had non injury related knee, hip, shoulder, etc. replacement, 3. do they have Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, 4. are they angry, depressed, Anxious, 5. Are they way over weight, 6. do they have digestive problems, 7. have trouble sleeping, 8. have they just gotten their flu injection? The medical care industry would like everyone to believe that all of the above describes a healthy person, or if not actually healthy, they are becoming more and more acceptable, "NORMAL". How do you describe yourself, healthy or not and if not why not become healthy? Bob
Medical care (some call it health care) is what it is and there isn't much you or I are going to do to change or improve it. The J. D. Rockefeller model of medical care is well entrenched, it is supported by the Federal Government, Main Stream Media and it is run/directed by the Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industry (the same entity), that in turn owns the government. The graft, corruption and incompetence (as demonstrated by the latest presidential candidates), boggles the mind, and, there is no longer any attempt to hide or disguise the aforementioned realities.
So, if your health and the health of those close to you is important to you and you know or feel that you are not going to find health at or with the Medical, its chemicals, drugs (prescriptions), injections, procedures, you are left on your own to take responsibility for your own health. Taking care of your own health, now there is a concept whose time has come. Where to start -- get some real knowledge, educate yourself, invest some time in your health that does not involve sitting in some waiting room. The internet is loaded with information that may need filtering to remove the information that just may not be true and is put there just to make someone money. Take heart, good, workable, functional, doable alternative health care information is there in many forms, including books (yes reading may be necessary). As with most things, the answers to this very large concern or problem are simple, but they do require a little time and effort. Robert Brown
In 1980 the autism rate in the U.S. was about 1 in 10,000 (that is one in every 10,000 children had autism). Now, today the autism rate is about 1 in 50 (that is one in every 50 children has autism). It is time for "everyone" to wake up and get some real knowledge. There are some good documentaries available concerning vaccinations and VAXXED may just be the best. Take a few hours research, watch the documentaries and empower yourself and your children. The rest of their life "is" at stake. Robert Brown
The 2016 Flu Season Is Here and with it seems, a little more fan fair than usual, the large banners are up, the flu season is advertised just about "everywhere", corporations are offering the flu injection to their workers, hospitals and most medical care facilities "require" it. Yes, there is no doubt that the flu season is here. And, some people will be injured by it (the flu Injection), some may even die because of it and some serious complications will be caused in individuals because of the flu injection. You most likely will not hear about any of these flu injection affects.
As with any other substance that is put into the (your, my) body, you and I should be truly educated about it. Go to NVIC.org (The National Vaccine Information Center). Educate yourself, your life may depend on it. Robert Brown
I got some flack from my article about how Allopathic, Government Sponsored Medical Care got started in the U.S. So here it is again with a little more bite
J.D. Rockefeller is a good representation of American wealth and power of the 1930s, who still remains influential today. Rockefeller was or rather is known as a Robber Barron, and not the only Robber Barron, some others are J.P. Morgan, Andrew Carnegie, Andrew Mellon, John Aster and a few others, controlled most of the wealth and power of the U.S. They spread their power through philanthropy. These people learned that being a philanthropist was a great way to get more of what is good for them, what they wanted. A practice that is with us today, alive and well.
The concept is easy and logical. Set up and fund a foundation, offer grants to medial facilities, colleges, universities, research facilities, etc. These grants pay for buildings equipment and salaries and most grants are either for a specific time period or project. Here is the hook, more grants are possible if the granter/foundation is happy with the results. As long as the granter foundation grants you money, you have a job and you can do what you do (within established criteria). The granter owns you and what you do and that is how Allopathic Medical Care (government sponsored medical care) became the only way(?) to go for health(?) care in the U.S.
The government is owned by rich powerful corporations, because as long as the politician, Congressman, Senator, President performs as expected re-election is possible. Contribute large amounts of money to a politician, help that politician to be elected and you own that politician. YES, that is they way it works. Follow the money and you know exactly what a researcher, professor, bureaucrat, scientist, politician is going to do -- support the hand that feeds them. However, what about us the citizen of the U.S., can you or I afford a politician? Butch
